Release Notes

This release has core functionality and is considered a potential candidate for a feature complete release of this library. However, suggestions for feature additions and removals are still being taken. This release is in working and stable condition, but if you should encounter any bugs or inconsistencies, then please let us know by making a review, starting a discussion, submitting a patch, or by emailing us. We greatly appreciate any feedback you might have regarding this release and look forward to suggestions and comments and of course future contributions and releases.

This release has been tested using basic methods and is not to be considered an approximation or estimate of the quality of the final release and as such it should not be used in a production environment.

Feature Overview
  • A memory pressure implementation for prioritized garbage collection
  • All arithmetic operations between various primitive types
  • Both implicit and explicit conversions between primitive data types
  • Properties which indicate if the Integer is negative or positive as well as the size of the Integer
  • Various constructors to meet the needs of just about anyone
  • A flexible ToString method which supports a significant number of base conversions
  • A destructor just in case you forget to call the Dispose method
  • IDisposable, IComparable, and IComparable<Integer> interface implemented
  • Predefined static fields which represent frequently used values that are relatively expensive to allocate frequently (-1, 0, 1)
  • Advanced arithmetic methods implemented such as modular exponentiation and primality testing
  • All methods which are not CLS-compliant are explicitly marked as such through the use of attributes
  • A highly secure implementation which prevents error propagation through the use of explicit overflow checking and exception handling
